In 2015, my cousin Alex Belkovsky left his full-time job to open a food truck in Austin, Texas. When he asked me to help him with a logo, I honestly had low expectations that he’d actually go through with it. It was incredibly fun to design the logo for Pepa’s Arepas, and even more fun to see it out in the wild!

It’s always interesting to see work in progress! Pepa started out a lot younger, and I took a lot of inspiration from Wendy's logo.

With feedback from my cousin and uncle, she grew up into quite a babe.

Pepa had a great two-year run, ending in October of 2017. Alex is still in the food truck business, at least part-time, and now co-owns a hot dog truck.
